What is in this pack

25 ready-to-print maths sets for Class 3, in Bengali. Every set is two pages and covers all 28 topics of the year, with 36 questions a set: 900 different questions in all, with no repeats.

What your child will practise

  • সংখ্যা ৯৯৯ পর্যন্ত: নাম, শতক-দশক-একক, বিস্তার, স্থানীয় মান, তুলনা ও ক্রম, অঙ্ক দিয়ে সংখ্যা তৈরি
  • Three-digit adding and taking away with carrying, three numbers at once, missing digits and mental maths
  • নামতা, ১০ ও ১০০ দিয়ে গুণ, ২-অঙ্ক ও ৩-অঙ্ক × ১-অঙ্ক, ভাগফল ও ভাগশেষ, জোড়-বিজোড়, ২ ও ৩ দিয়ে বিভাজ্য
  • টাকা-পয়সা, clock to 5 minutes (with clock pictures), সওয়া-সাড়ে-পৌনে, hours-minutes-seconds and the calendar
  • গড়, সরল (brackets first), number patterns, lines and shapes, and two-step word problems

40–50 minutes a set (or one page a day)
Sets 1–8 are easy, 9–17 medium and 18–25 a little harder. Do two or three sets a week.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes. Print it as many times as you need for your own family or classroom. Downloading it again is always free.

Is this the textbook exercises with answers?

No. Every question is our own, written to practise the same Class 3 maths topics. It is extra practice alongside school, not a copy of the textbook.

Does it need colour printing?

No. Every page prints clearly in black and white on A4. Print at 100% (Actual size).

In what order should we do the sets?

Go from Set 1 to Set 25. The sets get harder step by step, and every set has every topic, with new questions each time.

Which class is it for?

Class 3 (ages 8–9), Bengali medium, following the skills of the WBBPE Class 3 maths syllabus. It is also good revision at the start of Class 4.

Is it in Bengali or English?

In Bengali, with Bengali numerals, as in Bengali-medium schools. The parent guide is in Bengali and English.

Why does every set have every topic?

So each set works as a small check-up on the whole year. If one topic goes wrong, the topic guide has a tip, and the next set brings that topic back with new questions.
